Welcome! The Ivywood Parent Organization (IPO) is a unique take on a traditional PTO.
Every parent or guardian of a student at Ivywood is automatically a member of the IPO. We also consider the faculty and staff of Ivywood as members since we work together to build our community. The IPO is formally part of Ivywood and ultimately are accountable to its School Board.
WHAT WE DO:
The IPO serves the Ivywood family of parents and staff by delivering exciting and community building activities, events and other efforts. We are responsible for everything from the Room Parent program to the annual Field Day event and almost everything in between if it has parents involved! We do fundraise, especially for ensuring our teachers and staff know that they are the best there is in classical education. Look for the IPO stamp on communications to know it is an IPO sponsored event!
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
It takes a village and we have plenty of room to add more to ours! From smaller scale support, such as donating, to a more involved act like volunteering for events, all the way to large scale involvement like signing up to chair an event, we have a spot for you! Volunteering
The IPO has a strong need for volunteers in every department, from being a classroom parent, to chairing an event to even smaller scale things such as signing up to volunteer in your child's room, be a March Reading Month surprise reader, to manning a station at field day! We have plenty of opportunities to be active in your child's school no matter your schedule availability.

Donating
Between staff appreciation and wish lists, funding for events and field trips or even a blanket donation amount, we appreciate anything you can do to support the IPO's efforts of creating a sense of community between the faculty and school families.
