Art class for our 4th graders this week, focused on learning about Ming vases. Ming vases date back to the 15th and 16th centuries, making original Ming vases over 370 years old! Our students learned about the how the vases were made from blue and white porcelian, the blue color coming from using cobalt oxide. The 4th graders then created drawings of their very own Ming design vases.
