While our school may be empty this summer, we know that our scholars are as ready for the new school year as we are. Our hope is that
All Ivywood scholars are invited to participate in our summer reading initiative. Scholars who read a book from the summer booklist published in partnership with Hillsdale College and complete a book review page will be eligible for a gift at Orientation on August 31st! Please use the review template here and email your completed review to kaylacruthers@choiceschools.com. We hope that the reading of these books opens your imagination to endless wonder!
Ivywood Classical Academy is a tuition-free public school academy that will educate students using the virtues-based, content-rich, classical education tradition.
Parents may start dropping students off at 7:50 am. Doors open at 8:00 am, and there are three drop off options:
Option 1: Drop off at 7:50, a staff member will supervise students outside of the building until the door open.
Option 2: Park and walk to the entrance from 8:00 - 8:10. Parents may escort their children to the front or side doors.
Option 3: Utilize the car loop from 7:50 - 8:09
Ivywood utilizes a staggered dismissal. All parents must park and enter through the main entrance. All designated pick-up people must present their ICA identification barcode which will be scanned by an ICA employee prior to gaining entrance to the building. Students are dismissed directly from classrooms.
