Dear Ivywood Families,
We hope you are as excited for the school year to begin as we are! We are looking forward to seeing everyone at orientation Thursday, September 1st 2022 from 9:00-3:00. This is an open house style event and families may come any time between 9:00-3:00. During orientation families will receive teacher assignments for students in grades K-6, middle school students will be given their schedules. Students can visit classrooms, meet their teachers, drop off school supplies, go on a self-guided tour of the building, enjoy food trucks which will be parked in the cal-de-sac, check out our spirit wear tent on the front lawn, drop off medication in the main office, use our playground, visit our PTO table, and much more! For questions regarding orientation please call the front office M-F between the hours of 9:00-3:00 248.207.1757. We can’t wait to see everyone!

Ivywood Classical Academy is a tuition-free public school academy that will educate students using the virtues-based, content-rich, classical education tradition.
Parents may start dropping students off at 7:50 am. Doors open at 8:00 am, and there are three drop off options:
Option 1: Drop off at 7:50, a staff member will supervise students outside of the building until the door open.
Option 2: Park and walk to the entrance from 8:00 - 8:10. Parents may escort their children to the front or side doors.
Option 3: Utilize the car loop from 7:50 - 8:09
Ivywood utilizes a staggered dismissal. All parents must park and enter through the main entrance. All designated pick-up people must present their ICA identification barcode which will be scanned by an ICA employee prior to gaining entrance to the building. Students are dismissed directly from classrooms.
