Mrs. Boyd’s kindergarten class has spent the week presenting their Animal Habitat models and presentations to the class. The students’ Animal Habitats and presentations included research on where their animal lives and what it eats. The students also had to determine if the animal’s habitat is a good place for their animal to live and if their animal could live in other habitats. These kindergarteners are developing great research and presentation skills.
Ivywood Classical Academy is a tuition-free public school academy that will educate students using the virtues-based, content-rich, classical education tradition.
Parents may start dropping students off at 7:50 am. Doors open at 8:00 am, and there are three drop off options:
Option 1: Drop off at 7:50, a staff member will supervise students outside of the building until the door open.
Option 2: Park and walk to the entrance from 8:00 - 8:10. Parents may escort their children to the front or side doors.
Option 3: Utilize the car loop from 7:50 - 8:09
Ivywood utilizes a staggered dismissal. All parents must park and enter through the main entrance. All designated pick-up people must present their ICA identification barcode which will be scanned by an ICA employee prior to gaining entrance to the building. Students are dismissed directly from classrooms.
