Our 5th grade class was learning all about Martin Luther King in class this week. The class had a great discussion about MLK’s special war for equal rights. The war was special because MLK asked people to “meet violence with nonviolence”, what he called “Soulforce”. The 5th graders were then asked to reflect and write in their journals on “Why is a victory by Soulforce better then a victory with physical force?”
