We are thrilled to announce that we have found a school home in Plymouth. Ivywood Classical Academy will open this Fall!
As fellow parents and classical education supporters, we couldn’t be more excited to share that your new school will be located at 14356 Genoa Ct., Plymouth, MI 48170.
When we walked into this building, we knew it was where Ivywood Classical students would thrive. As a former training center, the building is currently divided into classrooms, making it easy to imagine children engaging in learning and wonder.
For our first year, we will have 10 classrooms, a library, a flex space and a cafeteria. There is a beautiful green space next to the building and it backs up to a wooded area. As we grow, we will expand to the second floor of the building, adding more classrooms and student spaces.
Ivywood Classical Academy is a tuition-free public school academy that will educate students using the virtues-based, content-rich, classical education tradition.
Parents may start dropping students off at 7:50 am. Doors open at 8:00 am, and there are three drop off options:
Option 1: Drop off at 7:50, a staff member will supervise students outside of the building until the door open.
Option 2: Park and walk to the entrance from 8:00 - 8:10. Parents may escort their children to the front or side doors.
Option 3: Utilize the car loop from 7:50 - 8:09
Ivywood utilizes a staggered dismissal. All parents must park and enter through the main entrance. All designated pick-up people must present their ICA identification barcode which will be scanned by an ICA employee prior to gaining entrance to the building. Students are dismissed directly from classrooms.
