It has been a wonderful first week at Ivywood Classical Academy! The photo above is of Mrs. Whitefield’s class reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to start the day! The scholars are doing a great job learning the routines and classroom procedures. Teachers are starting to introduce the curriculum with the hope of inspiring wonder! It is beautiful to see the Ivywood community come together for another school year! We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as our drop-off and pick-up routines work themselves out.
Ivywood Classical Academy is a tuition-free public school academy that will educate students using the virtues-based, content-rich, classical education tradition.
Parents may start dropping students off at 7:50 am. Doors open at 8:00 am, and there are three drop off options:
Option 1: Drop off at 7:50, a staff member will supervise students outside of the building until the door open.
Option 2: Park and walk to the entrance from 8:00 - 8:10. Parents may escort their children to the front or side doors.
Option 3: Utilize the car loop from 7:50 - 8:09
Ivywood utilizes a staggered dismissal. All parents must park and enter through the main entrance. All designated pick-up people must present their ICA identification barcode which will be scanned by an ICA employee prior to gaining entrance to the building. Students are dismissed directly from classrooms.
