September has been a busy month at Ivywood Classical Academy, and as we start the 2023-2024 school year strong, we wanted to share some of the fun we’ve been having with our students! From orientation to establishing classroom rules, our building is back in full swing and we couldn’t be more excited for another year of learning!
The first thing we want to highlight about our school year so far is that Ivywood scholars celebrated Constitution Day this past week. All of our students received a copy of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. We also celebrated with our first episode of “Eagle 1 News,” our in-school news broadcast.

The broadcast included reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and our school mission statement, the Preamble of the Constitution recited from memory by an ICA third and fourth grader and a few of our high school students discussing why it is important to live in a self-governing society.
At Ivywood Classical Academy we take pride in bringing a unique experience to our students, and as we look back on what has been an exciting first month, we are thrilled to see these adventures take place in our school. To see what else is happening with Ivywood Classical Academy this year, be sure to keep up with our blog and follow us on social media.
