We are thrilled to announce that Ivywood Classical Academy has been awarded a $20,000 grant from TC Energy as part of its Build Strong social impact program. This grant will provide valuable funding for our science program and equip our middle and high school biology, chemistry and physics labs with cutting-edge STEM tools. We are incredibly grateful for TC Energy’s support and their belief in the power of science education.
The grant will support our already expansive science curriculum. At Ivywood, our students dive into STEM lessons ranging from topics such as plate tectonics and energy transfer to forces and electricity. The new equipment purchased with the assistance of TC Energy will enable our students to experience science in a more interactive and impactful way, fostering a deeper understanding of these critical subjects. We are eager to integrate these tools into our classrooms and see how they will enable our students to explore and innovate.
We want to extend a huge thank you to TC Energy for their incredible support. This grant not only strengthens our science program, but also motivates our students to reach new heights in their scientific studies. We look forward to the exciting opportunities this funding will bring!

Ivywood Classical Academy is a tuition-free public school academy that will educate students using the virtues-based, content-rich, classical education tradition.
Parents may start dropping students off at 7:50 am. Doors open at 8:00 am, and there are three drop off options:
Option 1: Drop off at 7:50, a staff member will supervise students outside of the building until the door open.
Option 2: Park and walk to the entrance from 8:00 - 8:10. Parents may escort their children to the front or side doors.
Option 3: Utilize the car loop from 7:50 - 8:09
Ivywood utilizes a staggered dismissal. All parents must park and enter through the main entrance. All designated pick-up people must present their ICA identification barcode which will be scanned by an ICA employee prior to gaining entrance to the building. Students are dismissed directly from classrooms.
