During this time of Distance Learning and “Stay Home, Stay Safe”, it is really important to not only teach our students but to also help them connect with familiar faces. By helping our students connect with their classmates, we help with their over all well-being during this uncertain and confusing time. Our students have been having so much fun during our Virtual Play Dates. Students have the opportunity to participate in 2 virtual play dates a week, each play date split up by grades. Whether it be show-n-tell, hang man, singing happy birthday or one of this week’s favorites, a tea party, where even the fine china and silver came out for this special occasion, we are ensuring the whole child is being taught.
Ivywood Classical Academy is a tuition-free public school academy that will educate students using the virtues-based, content-rich, classical education tradition.
Parents may start dropping students off at 7:50 am. Doors open at 8:00 am, and there are three drop off options:
Option 1: Drop off at 7:50, a staff member will supervise students outside of the building until the door open.
Option 2: Park and walk to the entrance from 8:00 - 8:10. Parents may escort their children to the front or side doors.
Option 3: Utilize the car loop from 7:50 - 8:09
Ivywood utilizes a staggered dismissal. All parents must park and enter through the main entrance. All designated pick-up people must present their ICA identification barcode which will be scanned by an ICA employee prior to gaining entrance to the building. Students are dismissed directly from classrooms.
