Mrs. Knutsen’s 4th grade class is studying energy in Science right now. In this demonstration, the class was investigating how speed relates to energy as Mrs. Knutsen dropped a ball and a marshmallow into flour from various heights. Mrs. Knutsen and her class may have ended up making quite a mess, but they learned a great deal and had fun doing it! Mrs. Knutsen also learned a valuable lesson, it is not wise to wear all black when doing a demonstration with flour!
