Meet Hailey Morgan, our second-grade teacher at Ivywood.
Hailey is a Hillsdale College graduate where she studied History and French. She was able to find an enriching community where she could explore, wonder and ask questions that sparked her interest and creativity all throughout her schooling. Her knowledgeable professors made her college experience really enjoyable!
Previously she taught sixth-grade history at Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, a charter school in North Carolina. She enjoyed instructing her classes about Ancient Greece, the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution.
Her most rewarding part about teaching is watching students see the connections between subjects, ideas, eras and other elements. She loves seeing students’ faces light up when they come to a new understanding of what she is teaching and when they are excited to seek more knowledge.
Outside of the classroom, you will find Hailey with a book reading literature or history books. She also likes to go on long walks and hikes, paddle board on the lake and spend time with family and friends. She is new to the Plymouth community and is ready to explore all of the neat aspects of the local community including some of her favorites: farmers’ markets and coffee shops.
